CNN senior White House correspondent Ed Henry will serve as the opening keynote speaker for FOSE 2009, and will discuss the Obama administration’s embrace of technology.

CNN senior White House correspondent Ed Henry will serve as the opening keynote speaker for FOSE 2009, and will discuss the Obama administration’s embrace of technology. Henry, based in CNN’s Washington bureau, was named to his current position in December 2008, and has covered the White House for CNN since March 2006.

Henry won the White House Correspondents’ Association’s Merriman Smith Award in 2008 for excellence in presidential coverage under deadline pressure. Prior to joining the White House unit, Henry covered Capitol Hill for CNN. In February 2006, while serving as a congressional correspondent, Henry was awarded the prestigious Everett Dirksen Award for Distinguished Reporting of Congress from the National Press Foundation for the depth and breadth of his coverage throughout 2005.

Scheduled for March 10-12, 2009 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, FOSE is the largest trade show for government technology professionals.
