' What is ERP? Enterprise resource planning software encompasses most traditional back-office applications, such as accounting, financial planning, procurement, human resources management and other operational management functions. With the growth of electronic-business and electronic-government initiatives, it has also begun to integrate with online procurement systems and marketplaces in addition to traditional electronic data interchange systems.
